Shark sneakers.

I posted this close-up a few days before the finished drawing. The shoes already had perforations and a fin for aerodynamics. Obviously. What they still needed was a tread that would grip the hardwood.

In the finished drawing the sole is practically in your face. Here you can see what went into it.
